The MNS low-voltage withdrawable switchgear is a combined cabinet type assembled in the factory using standard modules (FBA). This series of low-voltage withdrawable switchgear is suitable for power plants, substations, petrochemical industries, metallurgical steel rolling, transportation energy, light industry, textiles, and other industrial and mining enterprises, as well as residential areas and high-rise buildings. It is used for power conversion, distribution, and control in AC 50-60Hz power systems with a rated operational voltage of up to 660V.
Main Features
● Compact Design: Accommodates a high number of functional units within a relatively small space.
● High Structural Versatility and Flexible Assembly: C-section profiles with a 25mm module meet the requirements of various structural forms, protection levels, and operating environments.
● Standard Modular Design: Can be configured into standard units for protection, operation, conversion, control, regulation, measurement, and indication. Users can freely select and assemble modules as needed. Over 200 assembly components allow for the construction of different frame structures and the formation of fixed, separated, or drawer units.
● Safety: Extensive use of high-strength, flame-retardant engineering plastic components effectively enhances safety and protection.
● High Technical Performance: Key parameters reach contemporary international standards.
● Space Saving: High degree of standardization, component generalization, and modularization significantly reduce storage and transportation space for prefabricated parts.
● Easy Assembly: No special or complex tools required.
Service Conditions
● Ambient Air Temperature: Not higher than +40°C and not lower than -5°C, with the average temperature over 24 hours not exceeding +35°C.
● Atmospheric Conditions: Clean air; relative humidity does not exceed 50% at the maximum temperature of +40°C. Higher relative humidity is allowed at lower temperatures (e.g., 90% at +20°C), but possible occasional condensation due to temperature changes should be considered.
● Altitude: Not exceeding 2000m.
● Special Conditions: If the above conditions cannot be met, solutions shall be negotiated between the user and the manufacturer.
● Specific technical: Specific technical agreements are required for applications on offshore oil drilling platforms and in nuclear power plants.
Switchgear Types
Power Center Cabinet (PC)
Uses fixed-mounted withdrawable switches with circuit breakers ranging from 630A to 6300A, featuring high breaking capacities, advanced structures, and intelligent capabilities.
Automatic Power Factor Compensation Cabinet (MDS-J), Motor Control Center Cabinet (MCC)
● Drawer Type
○ Assembled from large and small drawers. The main switch for each circuit uses high-breaking capacity molded case circuit breakers or rotary fused load switches.
● Fixed Type
○ The MCC cabinet uses a fixed mounting method with plug-in molded case circuit breakers, providing visible disconnection points, enhanced safety, and the reliability advantages of fixed cabinets. Functional units are separated by steel plates, independent from each other. The unit structure is compact, with high capacity and strong functionality. Various types of functional units can be assembled singly or mixed within one cabinet. The effective height is 72E, allowing free combination based on the scheme.
Drawer Types
There are five standard sizes, all based on a height of 8E (200mm):
● 8E/4: Four drawer units assembled in an 8E height space.
● 8E/2: Two drawer units assembled in an 8E height space.
● 8E: One drawer unit assembled in an 8E height space.
● 16E: One drawer unit assembled in a 16E (400mm) height space.
● 24E: One drawer unit assembled in a 24E (600mm) height space.
These five drawer units can be assembled singly or mixed within one cabinet.
Fixed Types
Standard sizes, all based on a height of 8E (200mm):
● 8E: One unit assembled in an 8E height space.
● 16E: One unit assembled in a 16E (400mm) height space.
● 24E: One unit assembled in a 24E (600mm) height space.
● 8E/2: Two units assembled in an 8E height space.
● 8E/4: Four units assembled in an 8E height space.
These units can be assembled singly or mixed within one cabinet.
