The KYN61-40.5(Z) Type Armored Withdrawable AC Metal-Enclosed Switchgear (hereinafter referred to as the “Switchgear”) is designed for three-phase AC 50Hz power systems. It is used in power plants, substations, and distribution rooms of industrial and mining enterprises for receiving and distributing electrical energy, as well as providing control, protection, and monitoring of circuits.

This product complies with the following standards: GB3906 “AC metal-enclosed switchgear for rated voltages from 3kV to 35kV”, GB/T11022 “Common specifications for high-voltage switchgear and controlgear standards”, and IEC60298 “AC metal-enclosed switchgear and controlgear for rated voltages above 1kV and up to and including 50kV”.

Description

Service Conditions
■ Ambient air temperature: Maximum +40°C, Minimum -10°C.
■ Altitude: ≤1000m.
■ Ambient relative humidity: Daily average ≤95%, monthly average ≤90%.
■ Ambient air: Not suitable for locations with corrosive, heavily polluted, or flammable gases, or subjected to severe vibration.
■ Seismic intensity, if applicable, shall not exceed magnitude 8.

Structural Features

  • The switchgear structure is designed in accordance with GB3906-2006 and IEC 298 standards for armored metal-enclosed switchgear. The assembly consists of two main parts: the cabinet body and the withdrawable part (handcart).

  • The cabinet features a bolted modular construction. The interior is divided by metal partitions into separate chambers: the circuit breaker chamber, main busbar chamber, cable chamber, and relay/instrument chamber.

  • The enclosure protection rating reaches IP3X, with inter-chamber protection rated at IP2X. All metal structural components are reliably grounded, and each compartment of the main circuit system has independent pressure relief channels for venting.

  • Handcarts are categorized by function, including circuit breaker handcarts, voltage transformer handcarts, metering handcarts, and isolation handcarts. All types share the same dimensions, ensuring good interchangeability for handcarts of the same function.

  • Each handcart has two defined positions within the cabinet: Test/Isolation and Service. Each position is equipped with an interlocking device to prevent unintended movement when the handcart is in either position.
