The HXGN-12 Box-Type Fixed Metal-Enclosed Ring Main Unit Switchgear is developed by our company through digesting and absorbing advanced foreign technology, combined with China’s power supply requirements. It is independently designed and successfully developed. This product has passed type tests and long-term trial operation assessments, with performance indicators meeting IEC298 and GB3906 standards. It also provides reliable protection against erroneous operations as required by the relevant ministry, with a protection rating of IP3X.

Description

This product features small size, light weight, simple and light operation, safe use, and easy maintenance. It is a new generation of high-voltage electrical products needed for urban power grid renovation and construction.

The HXGN-12 Box-Type Fixed Metal-Enclosed Ring Main Unit Switchgear is suitable for three-phase AC 50Hz/60Hz, 6KV, 10KV, 11KV power networks. It is applicable for distribution systems, ring main power supply, or dual radial power supply systems in places such as factories, workshops, and high-rise residential buildings, serving for the reception, distribution, and protection of electrical energy. It is also suitable for use in box-type substations.

The ring main units from our company can be equipped with vacuum and pressure-type load switches and combined electrical apparatus as per user requirements. They can be fitted with manual or motor-operated spring mechanisms to operate the load switch, earthing switch, and manually operated disconnector.

Product Features:

  1. The switchgear cabinet is assembled from 8MF section steel and divided into a busbar chamber, switch cable chamber, and instrument compartment by metal partitions.

  2. The cabinet has an assembled structure, which is sturdy, reliable, and easily extendable for combination.

  3. The load switch is equipped with an insulating cover for the static contact, effectively preventing internal arc short-circuit accidents and ensuring safe equipment operation.

  4. The load switch features a unique metal shutter and earthing structure. After the load switch is opened, the shutter automatically closes and isolates the breaking point, ensuring the switch cable chamber is de-energized and achieving separation from the live main busbar chamber.

  5. The load switch is typically side-mounted, with the three phases arranged front-to-back, resulting in a compact cabinet size and reduced footprint.

  6. The load switch, earthing switch, and fuse are of an integrated assembly structure with reliable interlocking devices, meeting the requirements of the “five preventions” function.

  7. To optimize the operation of the ring main unit, motorized mechanisms, communication modules, and other equipment can be added to ensure remote control and automated management of the power grid.
