This series of products is used to directly step down 35kV grid power to 400V distribution voltage or 10kV transmission voltage for user supply. Due to their significant advantages, they are being adopted in an increasing number of projects. The main advantages are:

The SC(B)10 series 35kV class non-excitation tap-changing dry-type transformers produced by our company are low-loss products that comply with Chinese National Standards GB6450, GB/T10228, and IEC726. They feature the following characteristics:

  1. High performance and low losses, making them the upgraded replacement for the Series 9 products.

  2. Use of high-quality silicon steel sheets, combined with a significant reduction in magnetic flux density, minimizes magnetostriction of the silicon steel during operation, effectively reducing noise.

  3. Optimized high-voltage coil structure improves the distribution of interlayer voltage and capacitance, greatly enhancing the product’s ability to withstand atmospheric and switching overvoltage impulses. It also improves the electric field distribution, further reducing the partial discharge level of the product.

  4. Can be equipped with temperature control systems and air-forced cooling devices. These automatically activate the fan cooling system during excessive load, effectively improving the equipment’s overload capacity.
