The JP series outdoor integrated distribution cabinet is a multi-functional outdoor integrated distribution device that combines metering, outgoing lines, reactive power compensation, and other functions. It features short-circuit, overload, overvoltage, and leakage protection. Compact, aesthetically pleasing, and cost-effective, it is installed on utility poles alongside outdoor pole-mounted transformers, making it an ideal new-generation distribution product for urban and rural grid upgrades.
The JP Cabinet (Low-Voltage AC Integrated Distribution Cabinet) is an integrated distribution product installed on the low-voltage side of a transformer. It combines power distribution, metering, protection, control, and reactive power compensation. It consists of three main compartments: the switch compartment, metering compartment, and compensation compartment. Key components include circuit breakers, metering and measuring current transformers, energy meters, data acquisition terminals, integrated distribution control terminals, capacitor switching units, and self-healing low-voltage shunt capacitors. Due to its advantages in power distribution, control, management, harmonic mitigation, and reactive power compensation, these integrated cabinets are widely used in urban and new rural grid upgrade projects. This product improves the power factor of the low-voltage distribution network, reduces losses, enhances power quality at the load end, and increases the utilization rate of transformers and transmission lines. It plays a significant role in energy saving, loss reduction, strengthening grid security and stable operation, and improving user economic benefits.
II. Features & Characteristics
Integrated Design: Combines energy metering and reactive power compensation in one unit, improving equipment utilization and offering a short investment payback period.
Advanced Compensation: No switching overvoltage or arc reignition during capacitor switching; suitable for frequent operation. Achieves precise compensation in one step, allowing for phase-wise, three-phase, or combined compensation. Can be configured with reactors to filter out higher-order harmonics.
Comprehensive Protection: Includes short-circuit, phase-loss, overvoltage, undervoltage, and harmonic protection.
User-Friendly Operation: Easy parameter setting. Automatically withdraws from operation during external faults and resumes automatically after power restoration.
Efficiency & Quality Improvement: Reduces line losses, increases the effective output capacity of the distribution transformer, and lightens the grid burden. Optimizes power quality by improving voltage compliance, reducing voltage fluctuations, suppressing voltage flicker, and enhancing grid security and reliability.
Phase Imbalance Correction: Can compensate for reactive power per phase in unbalanced three-phase situations to improve imbalance.
Flexible Configuration: Capacitor capacity can be flexibly configured. The system automatically selects the optimal capacitor combination based on the principle of “best compensation effect with the least number of switching operations.”

Structural Features
The cabinet structure is available in vertical and horizontal styles. The enclosure is made of 2mm high-quality stainless steel formed through multi-edge bending processes (or uses a honeycomb-structured stainless steel double-sandwich composite panel with flame-retardant, environmentally friendly, heat-insulating, and anti-condensation properties). Special stainless steel welding techniques are used, resulting in a high-strength finished cabinet with a mirror-smooth surface free of weld marks. Internal mounting beams/plates are hot-dip galvanized to ensure no corrosion for twenty years. The cabinet has front and rear doors for easy user operation and maintenance. Door frames are fitted with high-elasticity, aging-resistant sealing gaskets. Each door features both overt and covert locks, with rain covers provided for the overt locks to prevent clogging and rust. The metering compartment is fully sealed and equipped with a lead-sealing device. The cabinet side is fitted with rainproof and异物-proof conduits for incoming cables. The bottom is punched with ventilation holes and cable outlet holes. The top is equipped with ventilation ducts and wire mesh, providing waterproof, rustproof, dustproof, and异物-proof functions. Protection Rating: IP54.
