The Outdoor Ring Main Unit (RMU) / Feeder Pillar is primarily composed of SF6 gas-insulated ring main units and a metal enclosure. All live parts are sealed within stainless steel compartments insulated by SF6 gas. The units are arranged and combined based on user requirements, such as incoming line units, outgoing line units, tie-in units, and PT (power supply) units. It can be equipped with a power distribution automation system, offering simple installation, good ventilation, security, aesthetic appeal, environmental friendliness, immunity to environmental influences, and elimination of condensation issues.
It achieves the integration of primary and secondary systems in urban distribution networks and modular assembly, shortening the construction cycle and significantly improving the reliability of urban power grid operation.

In outdoor power distribution, it is suitable for ring main or dual radial power supply in 10~35kV power supply lines, and can also be used for terminal power supply, providing power control and protection for the supplied premises.
The Intelligent Ring Main Unit (Feeder Pillar) can be equipped with a distribution automation system. By simply configuring a distribution automation terminal unit and communication device within the RMU, it can communicate with the control center, measure various electrical parameters like line voltage and current, and monitor the status of each switch.
